Preparing for and Navigating the Transition to College

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

While many of our gender-expansive youth have experience navigating transitions, the transition from high school to college can present new challenges and opportunities for growth. This panel aims to provide caregivers with information about what colleges and universities are doing to ensure the safety, support, and inclusion of gender-expansive youth.  Additionally, this panel will also include college-aged youth who will share experiences and strategies for advocating for oneself in academia. Topics including housing, support services, policies and other asects of life on campus will be considered. Listen to gender-expansive college students and the professionals charged with supporting them as discuss strategies for navigating this important path.
