It is quite common for individuals to live in both the neurodivergent and the transgender worlds. In fact, there is a growing neuroqueer movement. Neurodivergence includes autism/Aspergers, Tourrettes, ADHD, synesthesia, dyslexia, high sensitivity and other neurological differences. Our neurodivergent, transgender/non-binary children need support for both trans- and neurodiversity related challenges in their lives. In this workshop you will gain greater understanding of neurodiversity in it’s many variations along with strategies and resources to support your child and family. This workshop will be participant-driven. Bring your questions and we will focus on the group’s needs.
