Seeking Congruence Through Surgery

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

For some transgender and nonbinary young people, surgical intervention is critical for their long-term health and well being. What do you need to know to support a young person in your life to pursue gender congruence through surgery? What are the key decisions a family must make as their minor considers surgical interventions? This workshop will provide parents and caregivers with a brief summary of the various surgical options available for youth, as well a discussion of the processes--emotional, physical, logistical--that must be accounted for as they consider surgery for their teen.
