Sandra Collins, PhD is the founder of the Bay Area Rainbow Day Camp, the non-profit engender, has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, and is a member of several Diversity and Inclusion Committees for area non-profits. Sandra was inspired to create the camp based on her own daughter’s experiences. The camp prepares gender diverse youth to be self-advocates and to feel empowered in a safe, comfortable community. enGender runs camps, playgroups and parent support circles to help gender diverse youth foster self-determination.
